Chronic Stress

When stress becomes constant our mind, body, and spirit can wear down. The unrelenting stress of oppression can have a weathering effect on people of color. In our work, we’ll practice techniques to lessen the impact of unrelenting stress.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a sense of dread and constant worry. Together we’ll gently introduce moments of calm and grounding to soothe your nervous system and to untangle and uproot your worries.

Trauma

The experience of ‘too much too fast’ can trigger the mind-body’s (brilliant) protection system. Over time, if not addressed we can continue to experience feeling numb, disconnected from self and others, agitated, or being on edge. EMDR uses our natural ability to heal so we can fully process and clear out what we no longer need and move forward with our lives.
